Guides

How to play every Rainlatch game and how to use every app and extension: the rules, the numbers behind the scoring, the limits and the questions people ask.

Rainlatch games are built to be understood in ten seconds, which is a good reason to write the rest down. A one-tap game can still hide a scoring system, a ramp that changes the rules at 60 meters, or a second mode that plays nothing like the first. These guides lay all of that out.

Each guide was written from the product itself: the rules a game actually runs on, the in-game help, and for the extensions the permissions listed in the package you install. Where a guide gives a number, such as the points for a perfect pass, the price of an upgrade or the day count behind a warning color, that number comes from the product's own rule tables.

The guides also say what a product does not do. A browser game that saves nothing says so. An app that cannot send a reminder says so. An extension lists exactly which permissions it asks for and what each one is for.
