Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-10-04 (first version 2026-08-25). This policy covers
everything Rainlatch publishes: mobile games (package names beginning with
com.rainlatch.), browser extensions for Chrome and Firefox, the free
web apps and browser games hosted on this site, the desktop games on itch.io,
and this website itself.
Data we collect
Our games do not collect, store, or share any personal information. Game progress and settings are saved only on your device. Our games do not require an account and have no chat or social features.
Advertising
Some Rainlatch games may show advertisements served by Google AdMob. When ads are enabled, Google may process device identifiers (such as the advertising ID) to serve and measure ads, as described in Google's Privacy Policy. Where required, you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can opt out of ad personalization in your device settings. Games that do not show ads do not send any data off your device.
Browser extensions
Rainlatch browser extensions run entirely inside your browser. They do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, browsing history, or page content. They act only on the tab you are looking at, only when you click the extension button, and they make no network requests. Exports you choose to save (for example a CSV of a table) are created on your device.
Web apps and browser games on this site
The web apps under /apps run in your browser and keep what you enter in your browser's local storage on your device. Nothing you enter is sent to Rainlatch. Clearing your browser data for this site removes it.
The browser games under /play store nothing: no scores, no settings and no cookies. Closing or reloading the page starts the game over.
Desktop games on itch.io
The Windows and browser games on rainlatch.itch.io keep a save file, your settings and a small log file on your device (in the user data folder for the Windows builds, in browser storage for the web builds). They make no network requests and send nothing anywhere.
This website
rainlatch.com shows advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted, as described in how Google uses data. You can control ad personalization at Google Ads Settings. Where the law requires it, a consent choice is shown before such cookies are set. The site keeps no server-side accounts, sets no cookies of its own, and runs no analytics of its own.
Children
Our games are designed for a general audience and do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If our data practices change (for example, when advertising is added to a game), this policy will be updated before that version is released. The effective date at the top is the date of the latest change.
Delete your data
This applies to every Rainlatch game, published on Google Play under the developer name Mawinna and on the Amazon Appstore under the developer name Rainlatch (Color Connect Puzzle, Tower Flip, Merge Heroes Idle, Stack 'n' Balance, Balance Blocks, One-Tap Soccer, Infinite Marble Workshop, Night Train Operator, Midnight Conveyor, Tiny Room Builder, Lofi Server Room, Rainlatch Arcade, Rainlatch Puzzle Box).
How to request deletion: email support@rainlatch.com with the subject "Delete my data", the game name and, if you have it, your device's advertising ID (Android Settings, Google, Ads). No account exists, so no password or login is needed. We confirm within 30 days.
What is deleted: the games keep no account and no server record about you. The only data that leaves your device is what the Google Mobile Ads SDK sends to Google to show and measure ads (advertising ID, IP-based approximate location, ad interaction and diagnostic data). On request we forward your deletion request to Google and it is handled under Google's retention rules. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID yourself in Android settings (Settings, Google, Ads, or Privacy, Ads on newer versions), withdraw ad consent from the game's privacy options, and on Amazon Fire devices under Settings, Security and Privacy, Advertising ID.
What is kept: your local high scores and settings stay on your device only and disappear when you uninstall the game. We keep nothing else.
