What One-Tap Soccer is
One-Tap Soccer is a free kick game. The ball is placed, a keeper stands on the line, and you take one shot after another for as long as your misses last. Every goal is worth 100 points times your streak multiplier, and the keeper and the defensive wall get harder with every attempt, whether you score or not.
Controls: flick and curve
Flick upward on the screen to shoot. The direction of the swipe aims the shot, and a longer, faster flick kicks harder. To bend the ball, draw the swipe as an arc instead of a straight line: bow it left and the ball curls left, bow it right and it curls right. The ball's trail changes color to show which way it is spinning.
Power cuts both ways. A short, gentle flick will not reach the goal, and a full-power shot can sail over the bar.
Streaks, bonus corners and misses
Goals in a row build a multiplier that climbs to x5. Any miss puts it back to x1. From the second shot of a run, glowing circles appear in the corners of the goal. Hitting one adds 150 points before the multiplier and triggers a slow-motion replay.
An endless run allows three misses, shown as ball icons at the top. A keeper save, a shot into the wall, a shot wide or over the bar and a kick too soft to arrive all count. Once per endless run, after the third miss, you are offered a second chance that puts you back to two misses used. If an ad is loaded it plays first, and if none is available the second chance is granted anyway.
How the defense ramps up
- The first two shots have no wall. From the third shot a wall of two defenders appears, and it grows by one defender every three shots up to five.
- The keeper reacts sooner, reads your aim more accurately and dives faster with each shot, reaching full strength around the fifteenth.
- Later in a run the keeper takes a second look at the ball in mid-flight, which beats a curve that shows itself early, and on some shots the wall slides from side to side.
Keepers and Tournament
In endless mode a new keeper steps in every 10 goals, each with his own kit and name tag. JUMPY commits early on a guess. READER waits and reads the ball in flight. WALL is slow but covers a large part of the goal.
Tournament is a fixed event of 10 shots. Misses do not end it, and only the final score counts: 1200 earns bronze, 2400 silver and 3600 gold. Choose AMATEUR, PRO or LEGEND to set how quickly the keeper ramps up. Your best medal is saved for each tier.
Tips
- Curved shots lose a little pace. Save the bend for going around the wall or beating a keeper who has already committed.
- Commit to the swipe. A hesitant flick that dies before the line costs a miss just like a save.
- Aim at the bonus circles when the wall leaves a corner open. The 150 points are multiplied by your streak.
- Read the keeper's name tag before you shoot. READER is the one who punishes a curve that shows itself early, and WALL is the one who makes the corners matter.
- Once the keeper starts re-reading the ball, bend it late and low so the second look comes too late to matter.
- Protect the streak before the score. At x5, a plain goal is worth 500, more than any single bonus corner at x1.
- In Tournament a miss costs nothing but the shot, so take the risky corner every time.
Questions and answers
Is it really one tap?
It is one finger and one gesture: a flick. The shape of the flick sets aim, power and curve.
How many misses do I get?
Three per endless run, plus one second chance. Tournament gives you 10 shots no matter how many miss.
What counts as a miss?
A save, a hit on the wall, a shot wide or over the bar, or a kick too weak to reach the goal.
Are scores and medals saved?
Yes, on your device: the best endless score and the best medal for each Tournament tier.
